FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers without the guesswork.

A few useful things to know before you send a course our way.

What is the difference between an audit and remediation?

An audit identifies barriers and explains what needs attention. Remediation goes further: using your original editable files, we make agreed fixes and retest them.

Can you audit a course without the source files?

Yes. A published course or accessible test link can be enough for a scoped assessment. We confirm which environments and interactions can be reviewed.

Do you need the original files to remediate a course?

Yes. Accessibility Remediation requires editable source files, such as the original Storyline project. If they are unavailable, Accessible Course Reconstruction may be the better option.

What if we only have a published SCORM package?

We can assess the published experience and discuss rebuilding an accessible course using the materials you have rights to use. Reconstruction is quoted separately.

Can you build an accessible course from the beginning?

Yes. Our End-to-End Accessible eLearning Development service covers design, development, learning activities, testing and agreed delivery outputs.

Which accessibility standard do you work with?

We use the relevant accessibility requirements agreed for the project, often including WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We confirm the scope, test environment and limitations before starting.

What do you need before sharing a quote?

A course link or description, the authoring tool, approximate size, whether editable files exist, your target requirements, and the expected output. Confidential materials are not needed in the first enquiry.
